Use & Precautions
Take this medication by mouth, usually one (1) softgel capsule per day or as recommended by the doctorTo get the most benefit, patients are advised to swallow the whole capsule. Do not break open, crush, dissolve or chew it
Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients mentioned. Cholesterol-lowering medications and proton pump inhibitors may reduce the absorption of fat soluble carotenoids. Whether or not these drugs have the same effect on lutein/zeaxanthin absorption has not been determined.
